Mechatronics In Bologna

MIB is a network of entrepeneurs from the Emilia Romagna region, formed by companies that have been active in the Packaging and Motor Valley since the 1950s. It was created following the Regional Call for Business Networks and the "Biomechanical Simulator" Project.

By combining the know-how of our companies with a commitment to innovation, we base our competitiveness on three main factors:

Known as the 'Packaging and Motor Valley', this area is renowned for its excellence and competitiveness in the fields of mechanics, mechatronics, and motor engineering, as well as in sectors such as automated machinery, machine tools, packaging, and hydraulics.

Customisation and Cost savings

From the project development phase to the creation of the prototype, our engineers and designers work alongside the customer, verifying its feasibility and creating virtual and real prototypes to check its technical and functional performance. Our ability to support customers throughout all phases enables us to maximise project customisation and optimise costs.

FLEXIBILITY

Thanks to the high level of technical specialisation and integration of expertise among the founding companies, we are able to create all types of mechanical, electromechanical and mechatronic systems for industrial, medical, scientific and solar applications.

R&D and TENDERS

Thanks to our experience in mechanical design, we have established important partnerships with international research centres, institutional development centres and various Italian universities, including the Milan Polytechnic, the University of Bologna and the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. These partnerships have enabled us to develop innovative projects, for which we have received funding from regional and European calls for proposals.

Research and Development

MIB boasts important partnerships with international research centres, university laboratories at the University of Bologna, and institutional development centres (CLUSTERS).
These close relationships enable MIB to draw on a wealth of technical and construction expertise, allowing it to interact proactively with the technical departments of major foreign OEM brands and develop innovative projects within the framework of European tenders.

Founded in 1979, Lamipress Srl specialises in the manufacture of serial sheared and deep-drawn components according to specification.

Thanks to our many years of experience, we offer a comprehensive service covering all stages of the production process: from design and in-house dies production – including routine and special maintenance – to complete serial production with surface treatments.

We manufacture industrial components for companies and multinationals in various sectors, including construction, hydraulics, electronics, electromechanics, mechanics, agricultural machinery and mechatronics, both in Italy and abroad.
